Sia Boey Urban Archaeological Park
Sia Boey – the first urban archaeological park in Malaysia is home to Penang’s latest Instagram superstar: koi-filled revitalised Prangin Canal. Prangin Canal was originally a river that flowed into the swampy coastline as it emptied into the sea located near where the Sia Boey market used to be. Flanked by impressive pre-war shophouses, it also features aged-old trees and a super cool playground for the kids to let off some steam.
