The Pinang Peranakan Mansion is one of the most ornate private homes in George Town. Built by one of the most illustrious personality in 19th century Malaya, the house has a long and colorful history. After decades of neglect, the mansion was bought by a property developer who restored and turned it into a museum to showcase his collection of Peranakan antiques.
