Batu Bersurat Cherok Tok Kun
Batu Bersurat Cherok Tok Kun is one of our national treasures. This stone with ancient inscription was founded by Colonel James Low in 1845, and gazetted as a national heritage site under the National Heritage Act 2005. To preserve the stone as a historical monument, a shelter was built over it. Under the care of the Penang Museum , it is preserved in the grounds of St. Anne's Church near Cherok Tok Kun hill in Bukit Mertajam.
