The Immaculate Conception Church is a Roman Catholic church along Burmah Road in Pulau Tikus, George Town. Dato Koyah Shrine, or Keramat Dato Koyah, is a shrine to a Muslim saint along Transfer Road in George Town. Chong San Wooi Koon is a Cantonese district association located at the junction of Lebuh King (King Street) and Lebuh Gereja (Church Street) in George Town. It is the association of Cantonese clansmen from Heong San district in present-day Guangdong Province in southern China. The association is housed in a heritage building built in the 19th century. The building was already in its place during a 1870s document.

Esplanade is a popular venue for events. It is famous for the Chap Goh Meh celebration. Since the 19th century, eligible young Nyonyas would gather on the 15th day of the Chinese New Year, known fondly among locals as Chap Goh Meh or Chinese Valentine’s Day, at the Esplanade to throw Mandarin oranges into the sea in the hopes of finding a good suitor – a tradition still practiced today.

Jambatan Merdeka is located on the border of Kedah / Penang. The bridge was completed in 1957 to replace the original bridge built in 1940 that was destroyed by the Japanese Army in 1942. It was officiated by Yang Teramat Mulia Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj (the 1st Prime Minister of Malaysia) and was named 'Jambatan Merdeka' (Bridge of Independence).

Ku Zheng Tse Temple is a newly built Buddhist temple in Seberang Jaya. The grand architecture of the temple emits an image of a Central Thai Temple. In the temple, there is a pavilion with donation tablets for the Gods and a huge shrine hall for devotees to pay their respects.

The Logan Memorial is a monument erected in memory of James Richardson Logan, who was a champion of the rights of the non-Europeans in Penang. The Kedah Royal Mausoleum is part of Kedah's Malay Sultanate heritage. This mausoleum was founded by Almarhum Tunku Sulaiman Ibni Almarhum Sultan Abdullah Mukarram Shah before 1821. On 12 November 1821, Armada Siam from Ligur invaded and conquered Kedah. Sultan Ahamd Tajuddin Halim Shah II, the Sultan of Kedah at the time, fled from his house in Pulau Tiga to this area and was rescued by his younger brother Tunku Sulaiman before seeking protection from the British in Penang. This area has been designated as an endowment land by the British.

In the village of Titi Teras you will see a walled Muslim cemetery filled with pointed granite tombstones and a carved wooden funeral hearse which is used to transport the diseased from the home to the cemetery. Further on is the Masjid An-Nur, a recently renovated mosque used for daily prayers and occasions such as marriages and funerals. In November, to commemorate the Holy Pilgrimage 'Hari Raya Haji', one can witness the sacrifice of goats and cows at the mosque compound.

St. Anne's Church Bukit Mertajam has existed since 1833 when the Chinese and Indian Catholics from Batu Kawan settled in the foothills of Bukit Mertajam. These people were farmers who had come to clear the land for cultivation. It was the very first Catholic Church built on top of the hill in Bukit Mertajam between 1840 and 1860. Also known as Noordin Family Tomb or Makam Keluarga Noordin, is located facing Chulia Street next door to the original main entrance of the Kapitan Keling Mosque. Penang Forestry Museum or Muzium Perhutanan Pulau Pinang, is a museum that was set up to generate greater appreciation among the general public for the rainforest in Penang. Constructed in 1976 and first opened to the public in 1983, the museum covers a 700 sq meter site. It was constructed using various types of wood. The main exhibition hall is supported by the trunk of a single forest tree. Penang Forestry Museum has exhibits showcasing the different types of wood and wood products. There are eight dioramas showing the different types of forest including the mangrove swamp forest, swamp forest, coastal hill forest, lowland dipterocarp forest, hill dipterocarp forest, upper hill dipterocarp forest, montane oak forest and montane ericaceous forest. Working from a dusty workshop a stone's throw from the Clan Jetties, Yeoh Gim Huat carves a range of Chinese, Muslim and Christian tombstones seven days a week.
