Rising more than 2,000ft above sea level, Penang Hill offers a panoramic view of George Town with a 15 min train ride up to the top. Enjoy the cool climate of 21 degree celsius & discover the unique plants such as tropical pitcher plant, tree ferns , tropical oak trees. There are also attractions in Penang Hill such as the Owl Museum, Monkey Cup Garden, David Brown's Restaurant and Bellevue Hotel.

Now, there's an easy way to get to know the history, flora and fauna of the place. You can hire an audio set at an inexpensive price (RM10) where you can have a tour of the hill and its attractions at your own pace. This audio hire is available at the entrance area once you're at the top.

19 Jan 2015: The multi-storey car park right by Penang Hill entrance is now open. Its convenient location is said to increase visitors to the hill by five per cent and has 310 parking bays. A fee of RM2 per hour has been set and it's free for motorcycles.
