Kuala Muda is a place for fisherman to dock their boats. Located here is the famous Pasar Bisik (Whispering Market) where buyers traditionally make their auction bids by whispering their offers to sellers. It is a central trading point for fishermen and fishmongers from the surrounding areas including Kedah and Perak.
