Following a series of refurbishment, the century-old Sri Selva Vinayagar Temple will debut its brand new look with a consecration ceremony on 1 Dec, The Star
Sporting a similar design to a temple in Singapore, temple secretary K. Narayanaswamy shared to The Star
that the refurbished features include seven gopurams (towers) and a gold-painted rajagopuram (main tower). The two-storey temple now consists of a multi-purpose hall to be used for festivals, functions and educational events as well as a main shrine with the addition of two new deity statues.
