Also called toddy or palm wine, tuak is an alcoholic beverage made from underdeveloped flower of coconut palm. The collecting and market for tuak was entirely an Indian affair with the majority of its drinkers being Indian labourers.

Immerse yourself into a Real Room Escape circuit for 60 minutes where you and your fellow comrades will need to solve a series of cleverly crafted puzzles and complete a set of challenges before time runs out. There are currently four different games available, set in four different rooms, each with different fear factors and difficulty levels. The rooms are Catch Me If You Can, Inception, Chamber of Secrets and Vampire Diary.

It was built in 1800 using planks and wood and has since undergone several renovations with help from prominent donors. In the months of March and July, Chinese Opera is performed within the temple grounds.

In addition, three of Teng's sons are fine artists working in batik painting as well as several other mediums. Although Teng's paintings occupy a prominent position in the gallery, Yahong also displays works of other notable artists in watercolour, Chinese ink and oil. Yahong's engaging display of vivid art work will tempt the casual buyer as well as the serious collector.

Yap Kongsi is a clan association of Hokkien Chinese in Penang. It is smaller than the other Kongsi's but the exterior design and rooftop details are very intricate. Located at Armenian Street, it is next to the Yap temple within the George Town Heritage Enclave.
